Bobby Baker was a political advisor and secretary to Lyndon Johnson during his time in the Senate and as Vice-President. Unfortunately, most information on the Internet borders on the conspiratorial, discussing Baker and Johnson's potential involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

There is only a brief reference to Baker in 'A Time For Choosing':
So now we declare "war on poverty," or "you, too, can be a Bobby Baker!"
