Both were highly corrupt and spent time in jail for their crimes. The more fringe information online ties Johnson (through Baker) to the assassination of President Kennedy. Also, the [http://www.aflcio.org/aboutus/history/history/reuther.cfm|AFL-CIO website biography] of [[Walter Reuther]] claims Reuther met with Johnson on a weekly basis in 1964 and 1965.
