	On November 6, 2020, I launched a new podcast to provide insight, context, history, etc. to the [[Reagan Radio Commentaries]] that I have been listening to for so many years now.		On November 6, 2020, I launched a new podcast to provide insight, context, history, etc. to the [[Reagan Radio Commentaries]] that I have been listening to for so many years now. I had lost my job due to COVID-19 and it gave me something to work on. When I found a new job, my time for research, writing, recording and editing was greatly diminished, so the podcast went silent.

			In September 2022, the Reagan Foundation asked me to take down the podcast, at least until I could find a new name for it. They objected to my using the name "Citizen Reagan". I suggested "Before the Oath" and expanding the podcast to other politicians and talking about their stories before they entered politics, but as I mentioned a moment ago, I had found that new job and my time podcasting was gone. I never had the opportunity to continue.

			It is now September 2026. I have decided to bring back the transcripts of the podcast. The audio still exists if I should decide to rebrand, but for now, I think my research work is worth making available again.
